Emerald is a beautiful green stone for love and the heart. It resonates with the Heart chakra, is a stone of compassion and increases vitality.

It has a long and rich history dating back 4000 years. People gave it for gifts, some, like Cleopatra, draped themselves in it, some believed the soul was restored when used and others used it for fertility  and sexuality. Emerald is definitely beautiful and its rich green colour is very soothing and calming.

If you are needing some patience, Emerald can help! Holding it is like the proverbial counting to 10 before you act or speak. It can help with some mental and emotional disorders, most especially depression.

Emerald is also known to help with eyes and vision. Hold a piece, put it in your pocket or lay down with them on your closed eyes to get the benefit. One of our customers was having an issue with double vision, just holding a piece of Emerald helped to calm her eyes making them feel more restful, not as painful or stressed.
