Emerald has a long and rich history dating back 4000 years! People gave it for gifts, some, like Cleopatra, draped themselves in it, some believed the soul was restored when they wore it and others used it for fertility and sexuality. Emerald is definitely beautiful, resonates with the Heart chakra and it's rich green colour is very soothing and calming.
