Crystals For Bruises

Did you know there are crystals that help heal bruises? Very recently I had the need to have help with a bruise.

I had a bad fall where I tripped over an uneven sidewalk. It was one of those falls where you upper body is thrown forward and your feet can't keep up to get your balance. Not only do you know you are going down, but it seems to happen in slow motion.

I landed hard on my right knee, then my hands and finally my chin and left cheek. My glasses were scraped, my cheek, my knee, but worst of all was my chin. Luckily I didn't break anything.

As is the way with bruises, it didn't come out til the next day, but it sure came out! It was a very dark purple over three quarters of my chin plus underneath and above my upper lip. I looked like I had half a moustache and half a fu manchu.

My crystal of choice was Rhodonite as it is one of the crystals that helps with healing bruises and bleeding by promoting the regeneration of damaged tissues. Should you have swelling with your bruise, which I did not, try using Blue Lace Agate or Amethyst and ice the area three or four times a day for the first 24-48 hours. After that apply heat to help encourage the body to absorb the blood. To hurry that process along, I also added in my Rhodonite crystals. I used the heat two or three times during the day and at night I taped three Rhodonite crystals over my bruises, then applied some heat before going to sleep.

Each day I could see the lessening of the bruise and within a week it had receded to only about one quarter its original size. I continued to apply heat and the Rhodonite until the bruise was gone. It was remarkable!

The bruise started as a very dark purple with red on the outer edges, but it never turned yellow like most bruises do when you just leave them. This process cut the healing time down significantly. In less than two weeks, the bruise was fully gone. I believe applying the heat not only helped with the bruise but also helped the Rhodonite to do its work too.

While I hope you never have to use it, I would definitely recommend keeping Rhodonite in your tool kit in case you or someone you know has need of it. It works wonders!
